Dr. Joseph Riggi D.O.

Dr. Joseph Riggi D.O. is a board certified (American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians) family practice physician.

He is a 1994 graduate of Monmouth University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He graduated from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, formerly know as UMDNJ School of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998.

Dr. Riggi completed an internal medicine Internship at Union Hospital, part of the St Barnabas Health Care System in 1999. He then went on to complete his residency in family medicine at Union Hospital in 2001.

Dr. Riggi has been providing empathetic primary care to New Jersey families for over 20 years. He has been a lifelong resident of New Jersey.

He was born in Elizabeth NJ, grew up and graduated from J. P. Stevens high school in Edison. Dr. Riggi has resided with his wife Shannon in Farmingdale since 2005, where they have raised 5 children: Isabella, Molly, Lilly, Nicolas, and Tessa.

Dr. Riggi spends his free time being “Dad” and you will see him in the stands at a youth/high school/college ice hockey rink, basketball court, lacrosse field, or soccer field cheering on his children.
